Referees are an integral part of the football family and their performance is crucial to the the development of the game in New Zealand and within the Northern Football Federation.

With the the game growing at pace Auckland need more referees to keep up with local demand whilst if taking seriously, it is a pathway that can open up with significant opportunity for travel and to be involved with competitions that most of us willl on see on tv.

As with every footballing journey, the first steps to becoming a referee is through the club, with a range of refereeing opportunities available through winter football, tournaments, summer programmes and futsal.
