Function Space

Birkenhead United boasts a unique clubroom facility, with sky tv, large kitchen, pool table, dart boards, and bar/function space that can seat up to 150 people.

The venue can be rented out for birthdays, anniversaries or other family gatherings by both members and non-members, subject to availability and delivery of core club activities and programmes.

 

Hire Information

  • $200 - bar staff (7pm-12am)

  • $250 - security staff (7pm-12am)

  • No facility hire fee.Kitchen available at no charge - on condition it is left clean post event.

  • Bar closes at 12am. All out by 1am. 

  • No alcohol can be taken into the car park.

  • Food truck can be stationed outside the clubroom.

  • You can bring your own DJ/sound system.

  • Use of the club sound system is $50, however it is more suited for background music and speeches than parties.

  • You can decorate the function space earlier in the day.

  • Smoke machines are not allowed due to our smoke sensors.

Parking

Parking is available via Melba St (140 spaces), Cresta Ave (100 spaces) and Beach Haven Road next to the community house (25 spaces). 

Sports Fields

Based at Shepherds Park the club boasts four full-field sand-based grass pitches, two of which are floodlit. It also has a floodlit training area and access to the futsal courts at the adjacent Beach Haven Sports Centre. Sports fields bookings are made through Auckland Council.
